Our last Tournament of the year held at Kent State University in Kent, OH.
We competed against 4 teams. Teams from Geauga, OH and Youngstown, OH as well as a team
from the Detroit area. We took the first to games agaist the inexperienced Geauga and
Youngstown teams without much problem. The last 2 games against Detroit were a
much different story. The first game was a hard-fought 3-1 victory to take us to the
championship game against the same team. The final game was tied 1-1 with just over a
minute to go when we scored to win the game and the tournament. In each game, the
opposing coaches picked an MVP and they were awarded a medal. That was a real treat
for our boys. The winners were Eric Matthews, Cam Shearon, William Sharp. and Drew Philipps.
Here we are entering Ohio on the way up. Here are William, Leo and

1st place trophy and their individual trophies. Here is William and me...notice the teeth..they were
busted out the night before we left. What an ordeal that was!! He was so afraid that he
would miss the tournament. And here we are on the way home, leaving Ohio.
